Does anyone know the dimensions and weight of an auto box for a 2.5 td (roughly) I'm trying to get shipping quotes and I need to get these specs. Alternatively if anyone has a box kicking around I'll take it!
I will endevour to get a 4wd box and have it fitted at Dunnings. I have to admit once the work is done I'm probably going to sell the camper as I cant really afford the running costs of 20 to the gallon! Shame really as I do love the thing!! (apart from gearbox fault)
Cool, So could anyone point me in the direction of how to go about this? Is it a simple as replacing the box or are silly things like multi-plugs (if there are any) different. Do I just remove the drive for the front wheels? I really have no concern about whether the vehicle is 2wd or 4wd. I just ...
Thanks for reply peeps, it is time I serviced it so will change fuel filter, needs it done anyway! I will contact alacrity or hopefully he may read this! Many thanks again for input.

Ok so before I end it all and find a cliff, I have a problem with my bongo. I have posted before on here about this but thought a fresh post would be the way to go. The bongo stalls but only when cold. It can be best described as driving a manual without using the clutch when you are supposed to ...
Hi, Bit of a long shot but would anyone know the pin-out of the multi plug on the autobox of a 95 diesel 4wd. or Perhaps if any techie guys could draw one up for me? thanks in advance

I cant help but feel the problem is being confused with something completely different. My bongo doesnt stalll quietly so to speak, its a rather aggresive stall; like the vehicle ...
Hi, Thanks for your reply, I sympathise you have had this problem, but on the other hand for me its nice to read someone else has this fault, for a while I thought I was going mad!! I've actually used the vehicle for a year now with the fault and as you, no problem when engine slightly warmed up. I ...
Hi, Bit of an old post I know, but would you mind sharnig the cost of repair? I have the exact same problem, put up with it for about a year now, I allways just waited till the engine was warm before going anywhere. Dunnings (near where I live) have siad they wouldnt mess about, it would be a ...
rev's at tick over just fine no drop with ac or any other power consumable.
the engine isnt running rough, in fact quite the opposite, ' if i engauge the drive forward or reverse, when applying slightly to much trottle the bongo stalls quite violently.'
Hi all, I'm having a bit of a problem thats getting worse with my bongo. when the van is cold (overnight / several hours ) if i engauge the drive forward or reverse, when applying slightly to much trottle the bongo stalls quite violently. I do not bellieve this is engine related, more transmission ...
