I'm away for 3 weeks in August too [work & hols]... where is this year going?

Good news is that I not only got that wretched pin out in the end, but my kitchen is now fully in situ, yay! I even relocated my spare table the other side of the van.
All in all, I'm feeling pretty chuffed with the change!

Hopefully my worries are resolved at a reasonable price. My Bongo was registered as a campervan but sold to me as an MPV. I managed to buy a small mid kitchen unit from a BF member and fitted it last night, so I'm now technically legal - phew!

Yep, that wonderful multi-purpose tool. I find it brilliant as a decompressor as well - I get steamed up, I thump something and the pressure abates....
