would there be any benefit from blanking off the egr valve? if so where can i get said item?

i got an aliminuim tube from a wind chime and used it as a sleeve to connect the 2 pieces together, used araldite to secure and 10 months on its doing great.

hi guys , ive got a 4 wheel drive freeda, and was wondering how it works, is it 25% drive to each wheel constantly, front rear split of 40/60 or similar , or is it one of those trippy systems that sense slippage and move power around for the best grip?

on friday night my stereo had lost its memory as if a battery had been disconnected, ive got a leisure battery fitted with a willington kit, will check some fuses later on.

just checked the water level, (its fine) but noticed on the inside of the cap small specks which are coppery coloured, does this indicate that some one has put in some stop leak stuff or is my cap or something else rusting?

whilst having a root around my engine bay just now, noticed that there is one jubilee clip on the pipes of the turbo, i recall reading about the coolant pipes and jubilee clips are a no go, but what about the turbo, would this allow fumes to escape?

hi guys, when i start my freeda in the morning, wait for the glow plug light to go out turn the key, starts instantley, then the glow plug light comes back on for a couple of seconds, while its running, does this mean my glow plugs are on the way out?

hi guys, just put a roof rack on my freeda and whilst up there noticed quite a lot of chunks taken out of the aft, some of them are over an inch in diameter and i can see the fiberglass matting and feel it, so they are quite deep, there is evidence that the previous owner had a rack on and it looks ...

my sliding door has stuck shut, it wont open from the inside or the outside, any ideas? i did fit a leisure battery and split chargeing system yesterday, could that have anything to do with it? it was working fine untill i got to tesco to take my nan shopping and she was stuck inside, asault course ...

hi guys, been told that the oil and filter needs to be changed every 6 months on my 2.5 diesel freeda, is this true? if so what oil is the best for it and how much is needed? ive got 101000 klm on the clock.
