FYI I had my fuel pump seals replaced at Lakeside Garage. Seals cost £7 but no idea about labour as included with a service and other work. Might be worth giving them a call for a quote.

I then added BG44K, recommended by my local KwikFit to remove diesel engine deposits. Had little effect, until I return...

Did you get this resolved? I have a bit of a similar problem. Just bought a slightly under-powered Bongo and its boost isn't there until 3000ish.

I've not had time to service it properly, to get all the possibles out of the way yet. Just wondering if you sorted yours.
