Re: Roll of Honour
I have just received my new membership card and it says on it 'Life Membership'. I am as surprised by this just as much as I was to win Bongonaut of the Year. Thanks people. My new Bongo is running perfectly and we (mum and Dad too) will be going to all of the bashes next year except for the Clither...

Santa Pod again
We're off to the Pod tomorrow. This time it's NOT going to be rained off. So who else is going. We'll be parked up with the Gobur near the business end of the track for the weekend, it's gonna be hot so should see the track walkers loosing their boots again.

Re: So who is booked for the Scottish Bash?
You will be fine in Edinburgh Terry , no problems there. But don't forget to pick up some SMIDGE midge repellant before you get to Fort Willian. Marriane, the bongomiesters wife, was bitten very badly a a Scottish Bongo bash there a few years back. Had a servere reaction and had to go home early. T...

Re: So who is booked for the Scottish Bash?
We'll be getting there sometime on the 17th (Tuesday), we usually leave about 4am for arrival at a sensible time to set up camp. After the bash we'll be going on to Fort William for a few days jaunt around the scenery.

Re: THANKS IAN GREAT BASH
Another well organised bash by our leader, thanks chap for all of the time I know these things take to sort out. I thought the Bongolympics was a great success and needs repeating in some form next year. The auction didn't really materialise like last years but I managed to make some nice purchases ...

Re: Santa Pod
Just got back from the Pod, got rained orf agin today (Monday) dammit. Some great qualifying runs on Saturday and Sunday though. The Pink Lady ran a blinder after so many disappointments so well done to them and of course Miss Kay for using some not inconsiderable skill in getting it down the alley ...

Re: Sorry, another noob asking about veg oil.
In our local Poundland they've got it at £1 but now it's only 75ml. However the 99p store still has the KTC 1 litre bottles at 99p, I've used that at 50% all last year with no problems at all although I do keep a spare fuel filter cos one of these days it'll get to it.

Re: Stainless Exhaust
Well I've fitted the exhaust system and it was a breeze. Just hook the front section onto the rubber hangers and the 3 bolt manifold flange just slid onto the studs perfectly, this is particularly helpful for me as people who know me will realise that I've lost the use of my dominant right arm. The ...

Stainless Exhaust
My MOT guy advised me that there are a few holes in my exhaust system, including the one at the end. I knew it anyway as I've Gun Gummed a few so was surprised he let me get away with it, mind you he's a friend a knows I'll get on with it. So the other day after talking to other members I looked up ...

Re: Santa Pod
Hi people, well I made it to the Pod as planned, had great grandstand seats too, weather was fine and my niece turned up on Sunday and settled in just in time to see that Euro record smashed, great introduction to drag racing for her, I couldn't go Bongo hunting unfortunately cos being straight out ...

Re: Santa Pod
I'm out on bail for the weekend so I'm gonna make it after all, however I'm taking the caravan so don't think it is good to use disabled spaces. I'm sure though I'll get a space close to the mound, see ya there I hope.

Santa Pod
Hi people, righty ho it's the Euro finals at the Pod this weekend, who's gonna be there to meet up with. I'll be there for Sat & Sun, would be nice to grab a beer with anyone that's there too.
