Re: Help - big engine problems. Not sure what to do with the
Thanks for the replies. I won't mention who the garage were at the moment but they were recommended through the Bongo Fury site - I had a six month warranty but am not really sure what was done as it just says 'engine rebuild'. A bit more research this weekend and a return chat next week I think

Help - big engine problems. Not sure what to do with the van

I've got a fully fitted V reg van that I've owned for 6 years - last year I was told that the head gasket had gone and the head was warped. I paid for a full engine rebuild and then had to have a fuel pump rebuilt, costing in total nearly £3,000.
I've covered less that 6,000 miles since the ...

Re: Help - Front end noise when driving - query differential
I think that the oil is ok as it was replaced when the garage checked it, but i'd recently changed a front tyre prior to going on holiday. It looks from your postings like this may have contributed to the problem. Can anyone give any advice about where to get a new differential if need be. I'm ...

Re: Help - Front end noise when driving - query differential
Thank you. Do you think that the change of tyres /wheels or removal of potential would resolve this issue or is the differential damaged and in need of a costly replacement?

Help - Front end noise when driving - query differential?
On a recent drive back from France I started to notice a noise that I initially thought was from the road surface. It is a whine / whirring sound that is only heard when moving and increases with speed (like a bus getting going). I took my Bongo into an approved site and they changed the f/n/s wheel ...

Starting problem after several days of non use
My Bongo starts first time every time and has recently had a new battery, alternator and a check of the glow plugs, whicj i'm told are fine. However if it is left unused for three days or more it stubbonly refuses to start and takes a considerable effort from a jump start. I've been told that this ...

Starting problems
Please can you help.
My Bongo's been refusing to start and has been draining the battery down trying to get it going. I changed the battery and this helped a bit but it is still struggling to start. I always wait until the glow plug light goes out and it has not been particularly cold. I've found ...
