Re: Electric window switch.

The switch from the Mazda 323F is identical as Tony states, I replaced mine last year. Try e-bay or one of the on-line car breaker sites. If advertised for a Bongo they fetch silly money but the one I got (from a 323F) was about £25.00. Tim

Re: Sliding door stuck shut

Great advice francophile1947. I checked some previous threads and gave it a few good thumps about 1/2 way up the door: bingo, the door opened and now seems to be working fine. One previous thread noted that this was quite common after having a flat battery so that ties in with our little 'lights on'...

Sliding door stuck shut

Help please? Our sliding side door is stuck in the closed position (diesel tin-top). Ive checked all the fuses and they seem fine, all other cabin bits seem to work (lights, blinds, central locking) but the damn door wont open from either inside or out. Any suggestions before i try to take the inner...

Re: Radiator Needed

I bought a new rad earlier this year from euro car parts. Cheaper than Mazda and all running fine.

Campsites and pubs, Dorset coast

Feel the need for a last minute get-away (the beauty of having a Bongo) and hoped someone out there might be able to recommend a campsite somewhere on the Dorset coast, Swanage/Weymouth area (ish) within walking distance of a half decent pub. Any suggestions?

Re: Drivers window switch replacement

Door switch from 323F of similar year (1997) was an exact fit when i replaced mine last year and less than half price of 'bongo' switch, worth a search on breakeryard type web sites or e-bar.

Re: Where to source a radiator?

I bought a replacement rad from Euro Car Parts last year. Exact match to the original, 2 yr warantee and the van runs fine. A lot cheeper than the Mazda rad.

Re: How to change the Thermostat

I found it easier to remove the dipstick tube which gives a bit more room to get at the other thermostat bolt, once the dipstick tube bolt is removed just wiggle and pull, its got a little o'ring seal around its seat into the block as i remember which can stick. You will probably need a 3/8" dr...
