Do you really have to un bolt the passenger seat just to dip the oil etc.
If that is the case is it the same for all 3 engine types?

Having owned an RX8 mine did approx 1,500 -2,000mls to a litre so you not exactly checking the oil every day. These engines don't exactly burn oil because they are worn out. Oil is sprayed in via a pump to keep the tips (seals) lubricated. Like any car i would reccomend these to anyone wanting a pro...
