Re: Weak rear springs?
Many thanks to everyone who has replied to my query. Looks like Air Assistors are the solution to the problem.

Weak rear springs?
Recently bought a 2.0L petrol Bongo and traded in my ageing 2.5TD. Generally very pleased with the van, however I have noticed that there are disconcerting "thumps" from the rear end when going over bumps, speed humps, cattle grids (a lot in my area!) etc. Also, it is possible to "violently" rock ...

Re: Temperature gauge - Bongo Friendee 2.0L petrol Aero mode
Thank you to everyone who has responded to my query.
A lot of 'food for thought' and plenty of ammunition to go back to the dealership with to get the problem looked at again. Their after sales service has been good so far, in sorting out a couple of other problems, and I am pleased with my new ...

Temperature gauge - Bongo Friendee 2.0L petrol Aero model
Recently bought a Bongo Friendee 2.0L petrol Aero model, from a main importer/conversion dealership, and traded in my ageing old-faithful 2.5TD. A 250-mile journey home gave me time to check for faults. Noticed that there was no movement of the temperature gauge needle, particularly when cruising on ...

ABS sensor
Can anyone please help with information about a supplier for an ABS Sensor (front offside needs replacing). ABS warning light is on constantly and a diagnostic check (£45+VAT just for that!) has identified the fault, but local garage could not source a replacement. As a last resort I will try a ...

Re: Rattle/knocking noise when steering left/right
4WD? it could be the universal joints
Thanks for your reply. Yes it's 4WD.
Similar experience as reply from rhino-wayne. Passed MOT recently, new front tyres and tracking checked. Haven't been too bothered by the noise. First noticed it after bought the vehicle 2 years ago but dealer checked it ...

Rattle/knocking noise when steering left/right
When steering left or right, particularly when turning at low speed, I can hear a rattle/knocking noise from the front wheels. Any ideas what the problem could be please? There doesn't appear to be any detrimental effect on the way the vehicle handles. Sorry, I am a non-techie so this might sound ...

Re: Odometer not working
Excellent. Thanks Guys for your help. Job done and fixed. Removed the facia to get access to the lugs on the plastic cover. Removed the plastic cover (and gave it a good clean!!) and nudged the odometer wheels with a matchstick, so as not to damage the numbers. Just had a quick test drive and ...

Odometer not working
Odometer has stuck, just as changing to 102,000 miles. Trip reset to zero but didn't help and not working either. Is there an easy way to remove the clear plastic cover over the fascia dials, so that I can give the odometer wheels a nudge to see if this will clear anything that is stopping them from ...
