Removed my rear AC and heating completely, i did mine the hard way, but im told that Mazda sell a blanking kit for the AC, and i just believe you can also blank the cooalnt pipes as well.

Well if the cabling is OK ,grounds etc then it would suggest alternator. Wonder why you are not seeing a generator light up though. Anyone? remove glove box, cable gland behind, if I remember correctly there was a little nipple on it, seen from the engine bay, I snipped that and fed cable though from inside, tie wrapped cable to thick metal bracing bar, my readout box was double sided foam taped right of cubbyhole near to left knee, can...

How about this? Purchase a spare headrest off evilbay, rip of the padding, then attatch tv bracket to headrest frame. Then just swap them over. Might need a small jubilee clip or other means to stop the headrest bracket from sinking. Only thing is you might need an extra hand to depress the headrest...

My dash cam has a switched live and a permentant live and neutral. With my unit, because it switches off when the battery gets to a certain level to prevent battery drain, it uses the switched live to turn the unit back on when the engine is started.
