Bummer...don't possess a multimeter. May have to get it checked out properly then! Sounds like even more expense!
Mind you, it does appear to be the original battery so it could be just that I guess....combined with lack of use lately.
Straw...clutch!

Bat Flattery!
Typical....Bongo had been starting to play up a bit starting lately with glow lamp light coming back on again once she had started. Thought was to get to the weekend and change battery....today...dead! Got soaked through taking it out but now on charge (was down to 25% power). Luckily theres a motor...

Re: White smoke from exhaust
Sounds daft but are you waiting long enough for the glowplug light to go out? I unarm the immobilisor, turn key to start glow plugs, by time I've put seat belt on starts fine. If I start the engine prior to this routine it tends to "knock" around a bit until it fires up after a couple more...

Re: Daily Titter - content warning!
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shone his flashlight around, looking for valuables; and when he picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, 'Jesus is watching you.' He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and ...

Re: Daily Titter - content warning!
It was entertainment night at the old folk's home and 75 OAPs came to see the show. Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: 'I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience.' The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch...

Re: How hot are You?
Did a 600 mile round trip last weekend in really hot weather including the great M25 carpark....highest ours went was to 93 degrees but mostly sat at 86 degrees. I have relocated this to the rear of the head as suggested previously. BTW a quick MPG calc came back with nearly 38mpg on the first leg o...

Re: TEMP Alarm Sensor Position
As a matter of interest what sort of temp reading should we be getting? In the previous position it sat at about 93 all day but increased to +105 if going up a steep incline (anyone know Telegraph Hill?). It's only day 1 of the new position (ooer missus!) but as I said looks to be approx 83 but will...

Going back to the original post I've now moved the sensor and readings appear to be approx 10 degrees lower. Simple job too. Cheers for the post Haydn.
