Hi all,
My bongo is in pretty good condition apart from needing a lot of welding. Will be selling spares or repair. Is £1000 about right?
Thanks

Is there any cons to that method and any idea how much roughly that costs?Simon Jones wrote: Some folk have fitted an electric inline pump to help the IP along slightly. Certainly cheaper than £400+ for a recon IP.

Re: Engine cutting out
its possible, but ask the garage to exhaust the cheaper things first before doing the pump as it can be expensive to replace.
check the fuel filter and the banjo filter in the top of the pump.
make sure its not bad fuel, theres a lot of it about.
as said try it with the fuel cap off or loose, see ...

Re: Engine cutting out
Hi Its a diesel, the garage have found that the seals are leaking on the fuel pump and they think that it might be those. Does that sound plausible?
Thanks

Re: Servicing
Thanks, I understand what your saying, it basically depends on the state of the vehicle, that will determine what needs to be changed.
Assuming, brakes, pipes, and so on, do not need replacing and it is just all the filters and oil change, is there a rough idea?
Thanks

Servicing
Hi Guys,
I apologise if this question has been asked before (it probably has several times), I did a search but couldn't find an answer. I just want to know roughly how much I should be paying for a full service, which is changing all filters etc.?
Thanks
Leonne

Engine cutting out
Hi guys, i'm hoping someone can give me an idea of what is causing my bongo to cut out. Basically when the fuel gauge goes below 1/3 of a tank, the revs drop to the point the engine cuts out. It then takes a few turns to start again. However its not as straight forward that, as when I have been ...

How would they know what you are using the bongo for, if something happened, you could be going, doing anything??

Re: Best way to connect wires
Hi trouble at t'mill,
Thanks for the tips, what if the soldering iron does not seem to be heating the wire hot enough to melt the solder, that is what seems to be happening and maybe the soldering Iron I just got (cheap one from lidl) is not good enough to do the job.

Re: Best way to connect wires
Personally, I would solder all electrical connections, especially if they are going to be exposed to the elements. Remove some of the rubber coating without cutting the wire, twist the two wires together and solder the connection. The solder will pass along the wire and slightly melt the rest of ...
