The rumour is correct I just got 1 off of Ebay for £20 + p&p. All you need to do is remove the outcasing but the switch is exactly the same. Type in "Mazda window switches" in the search box on ebay and you should find them but remember you need 1 from a 2 door model not a 4 door.

Yes Kirsty I took the metal connector off for the foto so the brass connection was visable. Just need to nip out and buy some more spade connectors I only have 1 left #-o. Yes Jaylee that is where the bottom of the bulb will sit. Many thanks I will attempt to wire it up tomorrow.

The internal gubbings on my fog light have rotted causing my light not to work so I've purchased a replacement light it arrived with no wiring instructions and no + or - markings on the casing. True Kirsty typed in mazda window switches in ebay search and found the 1 I bought ordered yesterday arrived today. Well cheaper than buying a switch that has bongo in the title :D

Have looked at the wiring going into the door and can't see any visable breaks. I get no buzzing noise when I operate the window switch jaylee.

Have taken the switch apart and cleaned all the contacts with contact cleaner.(as recommended by Kirsty) In the past the drivers side would operate occasionally and no problems with the passenger side now I have nothing neither side works. Have found a cheap enough switch replacement but dont wont t...

Electric window wiring

Can anyone advise me on how I could test my wiring for breaks for my electric windows. I've put a multimeter on the connector block and found the live feed. However I'm getting no reading on the other connectors. I've looked at the wiring diagrams but its all double dutch to me. Many thanks
