Silly question time! I recentely put a new, bigger battery on the Bongo, and now I can
play my C.D's at an higher volume before the sound breaks up! Will this be because
of the new battery? I thankyou.

Re: 'DRY' leisure battery!
It's taken me a long time to learn, and I still ocasionally live in hope, that when a battery is ****ed you get rid of it. I've tried all the tricks but all that happens is that you end up giving house room to something which will never be reliable again. Same goes for NiCads that have been zapped ...

Re: 'DRY' leisure battery!
Did it dry out? or was it drained for some reason? Yes that is true if it was drained then it could be simply refilled with water and battery acid and it would come back close to normal. Its simple to check, ask your Dad did he replaced his trousers or shoes a year or so ago because they had holes ...

Re: 'DRY' leisure battery!
I think you will find that as the water evaporated the concentration of sulphuric acid will go up to the point where you get corrosion of the lead plates from simply chemistry! I wouldn't spend to much money or time trying to get it going again, as its very unlikely to accept a full charge or last ...

I checked the water level inside the battery, and it was dry!! I've filled it up with nearly 3 litres of de-iodnised water and now my question is;have ...

Re: Anti roll bar bracket
I heeded everybodys advice but still managed to snap one of the fixed bolts!! It took me just under 3 hours Thats the worry. If you have a good socket and extension bar you may get a good purchase, enough to snap the bolt. Not sure there's much you can do to avoid that (hindsight is a wonde...

Re: Rear Anti-roll Bar Bolt Snapped!
I thought that as well Kirsty, but the bolt has a 15mm round head on it and seems to be welded to the bracket itself
I've drilled all the bolt out,but this disk thing won't shift, not even with a small bolster chisel Should I drill through
that as well? Cheers.

Re: Daihatsu Hijet Question!!.......Sorry!
Obvious things to check first I guess are filters, binding brakes, oil level & condition, etc, tyre pressures? Was this a sudden increase in consumption or gradual? Has it been serviced regularly/properly? Hi Kirsty,it was a sudden increase. It has been serviced, but I will check the air filter ...

Right then,on Kirstys recommendation,I am having the thermostat changed at the same time! :) I thought, whether I can keep it or not,it'll be an added asset if I do have to sell it!!
