Hi Chopper129, I replaced my Engine Bay Temp sensor, with a new one from Bongobits.com, cost £49.59, still got the old one if you want it.

Re: Springs on Rear Pads
8) :) :) Hi carlioll, diagram in the workshop manual shows outer shim/inner shim and a spring which looks like it pushes the pads towards the piston when brakes are off, this means that there is no take up when brakes are applied. Pretty sure that is the CLONK I hear when braking. Cheers Nibs

Re: Springs on Rear Pads
Thanks for replies, can I ask you carlioll where you purchased your front pads? You must have got the two shims shown in the workshop manual, I would be intrested as to wether the springs would come with the rears.

Re: Springs on Rear Pads
Yes robdrinky you are correct there is a spring/shim arrangement, never had the springs and dont come with new pads, which are quiet when you first put them in, but when a little worn back comes the CLONK.

Hi all, anyone know where I can obtain the springs for the rear brake pads? tired of hearing the clonk from the rear every time I brake. Summer is coming and I like to drive with the windows down.
