Re: And the Bongo is gone!

Well, we had our first camping trip in the Trafic last weekend... It was brilliant!. We saw quite a few Bongo's and this did make us a little sad but I have to say the Trafic is great. Roosmith, if you haven't seen it already, check out the "Vanstyle" website (loads of awesome stuff here t...

Hi Roosmith, Sorry for the delay in reply, it's been a bit hectic here! Anyway, we collected our new Renault Trafic last weekend and we are really pleased with it, we are now in the process of converting it into a basic camper, this will be a very simple design, we need to build a fitted shelf for o...

Hi Roosmith, I just saw this thread and thought I would drop you a quick message, we too sadly are having to say goodbye to our Bongo, it feels like the end of an Era, quite sad really. Anyway, like you we have been looking at Vivaro/Trafic and just yesterday have put down a deposit on a lovely Traf...

Saying Goodbye to our Bongo

After over 10 years of enjoying our Bongo, for various reasons we are sadly having to say Goodbye to our much loved van . it may be sentimental but we were hoping that we could keep it in the "Bongo world" so to speak, it is a very old vehicle now, high mileage and lots of rust but it may ...

FRONT BRAKE CALIPER PISTON

Hi Guys, Can anyone help with advice on freeing up a sticking brake caliper piston? Re: Door problem or Battery??

Cheers

I'd like to check and clean the main earth connections; can anyone advise where to find these? I think the main one comes off one of the battery leads but want to be sure I'm looking at the right thing! Wiring is not by strong point.

Thanks

Door problem or Battery??

Hi Techies! A few days ago we noticed that the central locking on our Bongo appeared to have some issue; not all doors would unlock, also we noticed that the "door open" warning light kept coming on, this seemed to resolve itself but yesterday it did it again and now the Bongo will not sta...

Body kits

Hubby is interested in Bongo body kit to hide rust around wheel arches etc...Any experience/suggestions on whether these are any good, where to get them and how easy they are to fit?
Cheers.

Bongo windscreens?

Our Bongo just came back from its MOT, we have an advisory note about a chip on the windscreen and it got me wondering...How easy is it to get a new windscreen for a Bongo? I am thinking maybe it would be worth getting this chip repaired just in case??

Re: Brake caliper?

The piston is broken. I am hoping to buy the parts myself and get a mechanic friend of mine to do the work. I tried BongoBits with no luck but I found Madzabongo.com do the caliper for around £160. E-bay is still cheapest.
Cheers for the advice
