Re: barge inn at pewsey
Just checked the prices, looks like it's gone up a bit since last time I was there, £15 a night for a camper with no hook up, looks like everyones trying to cash in on the camping boom. Sure it was only £5 a night last time we went - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3...

Re: Back vallence rotted out
Well I can say for sure the rot comes from inside the box beam/section that the floor pan sits on, if you are under the back vallence and look up and to the rear you will be under the botton profile of the box section, here's the rub, there is a massive hole in it and the weather and road spray get u...

Re: Back vallence rotted out
Beneath the floor pan is a box section and it has rotted out on the right angle there is three edges to the metal that the rubber strip grips round, the nuts holding the door catch have sheared off and they go into nutserts it gets worse by the minute

Re: Alloys and tyres deflating
Had the new Fox Alloys FX1's fitted and ballanced today, it was murder had to wait a day, came with new valves and wheel nuts, they are amazingly light even with tyres on when compared with the old original alloys, they look great just need to get the tyre soap off them, I will put a pic up later Sp...

Re: Does the bongo run on full or part synthetic oil??
And I quote:-
For lower and medium-mileage vehicles, I would recommend 10W/40 as
an alternative to the stipulated 10W/30 if you cannot find the latter. (5W/30 is
apparently suitable for temperatures cold weather, down to –10C).

Re: Replacement Oil Pipe
I think you will need a scrapped Bongo to slavage from there matey or maybe it can be remade from copper, is it one of a pair that go into the rad? I'm not sure how hot it gets I've never had cause to check it, can you patch it with an adjustable clip and some gasket material? maybe

Re: Does the bongo run on full or part synthetic oil??
From Faq sheets in members area Synthetic and semi-synthetic oils Synthetic and Semi-synthetic oils are fine if your engine has done less than 25,000 miles and you can afford the extra outlay (which is significant). They are not a cure-all, they will not stop your engine burning oil and they will no...

Re: rear droplinks snapping
I'm getting a knocking at the rear nearside of the van usually whilst at low speed going around a corner or doing the same on a camber. Does this sound like a droplink is snapped or is this more likely to be suspension? Sounds more like ARB's but I had the same at the front and it was drop links yo...
