Re: Reading fault codes (flashing light)

Some of the later ECU's use a 4 digit code not just 2 digits that came out on the earlier versions.

Re: Hardwiring Nextbase dashcam

Yes the Ancillaries fuse top Right unless you have it switched over to a leisure battery.
On the otherhand if it has a parking mode you might want it to remain powered, depends on the settings it has.

Re: Fiamma 45i Brackets

My roof level corrosion was more due to the missing sealant where the roof section rests on the "gutter" at the top of the side panels. Where the Fiamma clamps were I didn't have corrosion, they kept the roof clamped to the gutter section, but between the clamps where the sealant was missing the rus...

Intrigued as to what could cause the gauze filter to start breaking up ? Was there much debris that could cause damage to it?

Re: Atf sump filter purchase recommendations please

? Do you mean the oil strainer, you just wash it, there isn't a replaceable filter as such ?

Re: Overheating - Looking for troubleshooting steps

The radiators have a metal to plastic seal at the top and the crimping of the metal to the plastic can fail or under excess pressure you might even suffer bending of the plastic top.
I'm afraid to say it all points to a crack in the head allowing excess pressure to get into the coolant system.

Re: Delayed shift up through 1st 2nd and 3rd N reg bongo

No expert on this but there is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) which if the cable had been adjusted might now be in the wrong position and as its this which tells the ECU/Autobox when to change might be the problem ?

Re: electric blinds

A swap loom is 4 wires and a new fuse box, that connects to the LB, the 4 wires (loom) go to the original fuse box and you pull the 4 fuses, which includes the blinds and put the wires into the lower slot as below, this transfers those circuits across to the LB and are now permanently powered from t...

Add a leisure battery with Split Charge Relay and swap loom to move the circuits over.
