Re: Rust above gutter line on side of roof ?

Not an uncommon repair in restoration stuff. Thames 15cwt and early Sherpa's, yes people restore Sherpa's! It is fairly common. It always comes down to economics in the end. To carry out a "proper" repair to a complicated area such as this is would require the local roof skin panel to be ...

there are several different models, some are fixed height, some retract when not in use. a pic may help. a breaker may be the only hope like bongospares2012, or the one simon jones uses down near salisbury. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ca...

Re: Auto closing mirrors

Hi, About 8 years ago I took a window closure module & bit off more than I could chew successfully getting the mirrors to fold on locking on my old 95 plate... So I took a punt on the unit featured in the original post & just fitted it to my recently aquired 02 Aero Any how.. Looking at the ...

Re: D r l

Hi Please be aware that you must have properly "E" marked DRLs if you intend to use them as such in any country requiring them. I believe in some countries require that they should have a fitting certificate of compliance if used as DRLs. The proper DRLs are extraordinarily bright in comp...

Re: Electric window issue

Hi, As young Bob says. easy enough but a tight spot to work in. The loom between the drivers door & body forms a V. Over the years the wires in the loom can break where it bends in the bottom where the loom straps to the door hinge?. Another place hazard to spot is where the loom goes into the b...

Re: Part 50-640?

Hi Geoff, Hope your well..? Yeah, four of those clips & the moulding looks like it clips over the outer door skin the same way the door card does on the inner skin..? I'm almost thinking the door card may need to come off to allow a little "play" in the rolled down window in order to u...

Part 50-640?

Hi, Done a bit of an extensive search on here, but to no avail.. How does one go about removing the outside trim molding directly below the driver/passenger's door window.? Part on the link here. http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=5040A&cat=a2ajra0c&vin=&imgno=.html#2 I've had a ...

Re: Cubby hole switch mod

Another idea for material to use to make the panel is a spare table back from a middle bench seat. That way you can use matching plastic. Not my idea but one I remember seeing somewhere, probably on here somewhere. You mean like this one..? http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&...
