Slovenian Bongo

I have been living in Slovenia now for the past 2 years. I had a "weekend" home there for the past 5 years. Slovenia is the top bit of old Yogoslavia. The Bongo is UK registered as I travel back often to visit the Kids. Keeping it MoTed and Taxed is therefore not a problem. I was insured w...

It would be good to keep the original, because strangly, it gives a pleasant light!.
I have a "normal" tube over the cooker, and the light is not as warm and homely!
Shucks, think I'll put the ultra violet one in anyway!

Thanks John,
Lee was trying to see if his local Mazda dealer still had a spare one, but I havnt heard.
It would be good to have a supply available to all of us.
There must be lots of late bongos who will need these lamps. Eventualy!

Cheers Spike

Hey John, this is exactly right ! I think its designed to ATract insects!! Could make the van look like a '60s Diso? shows the dandruft, and false teeth. Still we're on the right track. At least I'm not imagining things, and am not alone.

Thanks Ian, but I just measured mine and its half that size! and the tube!
Seriously, its like one of those tubes bent in half, so all 4 pins are at one end. Strange but true.

interior light tube

The big tube light in the middle rear of the van, is not a single tube. Its a "U" shaped tube and has 4 connections at the one end. It has a marking Samyuk FUL 10T6G. It looks original, but none of the vendors has heard of it. I've searched the internet and no sign of anything like this. A...
