This was what put me off to begin with, the diesel timing . Im not sure if it will be aswell to just use the same pump as i can mark them together although i thought that the slot on the end of the shaft of the pump where its tappered would only go in the one way . IM TOTALLY FEELING MY WAY WITH THI...

Yeah ive actually got a replacement pump to put in incase i damaged anything internally when i blocked it. but i wont know untill i get the damn thing off although im nearly there lol. I ran it on veggy last winter but ran it with too much veg oil and clogged it so had to top up with more diesel and charge the battery, to get it to start. but it started to leak and didnt run right . So i changed the two seals shown in the fact sheet but it seem to be leaking from where it goes int...

Im gonna have to buy more tools :cry: again.
Ive called it a day for today.
I may try and borrow one, or hire it.
Do you know anywhere to get the seals though i think i need some kind of seal where it enters the cam assembly not the ones on either side of the pump?

Okay just did a bit of reading and i do need the cover off so my next question is what do i need to take off to access the timing belt cover . Hello people, I have been putting off removing the fuel pump for a very long time . Sun is out and here we go. The seal behind the domed cover at the front not the seal behind the plate at the back in the photos you posted a while back.
