Re: lack of power on diesel 4x4

Hello peeps long time no post :) I have a problem with the EGR pipe that is leaking from the screwed join in the back of the exhaust manifold. It is blowing between the pipe and the large screwed threaded union. This is quite noisy and may be reducing power. I have tried tightening this but there is...

Re: Wiring a Leisure Battery

Hi peeps Can the alternator charge three batteries? Two in the Bongo with a wilinton relay, and when charging a leisure battery in a caravan. Would a self switching relay do the job wired between the Bongo main battery, or the Bongo leisure battery? Wouild the strain be to much for the alternator. I...

Re: silicone hose leaks, turbo clamp, & thermostat problems

sounds like after after about 12 months of constant presure they seem to be streching the clips, so maybe it might be wise after 12 months that they are all tightened, then checked regular as this seems to be happening alot from what ive gathered over the last couple of months. It will be interesti...

Re: Overheating: The Statistics

Length of ownership will have an effect too, if you've had a bongo for 4 years, it's more likely to have had an issue than if you've had it for 2 months. Not true! If you have owned a Bongo for less than 2 months, and bought it from an unreliable source, the chances are that the radiator is more li...

Re: Fitting a water pipe elbow for bleeding..

I don't think they physicaly remove the rear heater system Trev, just blank off the controls. I thought that Wellhouse removed all the gubbins as Trev said & used the "well" that they're located in for water tanks or something? It's an idea I keep thinking about, there's a lot of spac...

Re: Fitting Cruise Control.......

Well as I haven't posted for a few days and it works great. Had a few problems with the led lamps that I fitted, now removed and replaced with standard ones. I have also found the CC great as I can now make a cup of tea whilst driving down the road. My CC doesn't make the tea, how do you make it do...

Have you found any benefit in changing from speedo to propshaft. I have found that the speedo fitting is excellent and have never worried about fitting anything else.
