Popped by Andys Imports today and he did indeed have a few in stock. I'm now a happy chappy. Thanks all

Re: Wanted - Flip up footrests / seat pads
Was hoping somebody was breaking one or a converter had a pile! I've texted Andy twice already but no answer - perhaps I'll drop in on the weekend.
Cheers

Wanted - Flip up footrests / seat pads
Hi all,
I'm after a pair of the small flip-up seats / footrests that are attached to the rear of the Front seats. The material on mine is worn through. If anybody has any spare I would happily pay for them (+ p&p).
Cheers,
Rob
PS/ We have a '95 Bongo 2.5D, and live in Norwich.

Re: Am I too tall?
Ta for the advice everybody. Our Bongo has standard size wheels and tyres - but I don't know if I want to risk it. Doing a recce is a great suggestion ta (it must be because my wife also suggested it  ), but the £30 diesel and half a day of travel is not worth it in my opinion :-( Surely somebo...

Re: Am I too tall?
Nice view from the top floor Bob
I kinda need to know in advance, because I'll be dropping the family at the airport, parking up and then getting the shuttle bus back. It will be stressful if the Bongo doesn't fit! Is half the price of the airport long stay rip-off parking.
Cheers,
Rob

Am I too tall?
Hi, I'm thinking of parking at Luton Parkway multistorey for our hols, which has a height limit of 2.1 metres. That is our exact height (96 AFT). So do you think we will fit? I assume the "max" has a little bit of leeway! Even better would be if any Bongo owners have parked there so I know...

Thanks All - just letting you know I'm alive!
The nuts wouldn't budge, even with copious amounts of WD 40, so off to the mechanic we go!
(he's got a pit).

Thanks guys
I've got a trolley jack and the scissors jack, so between them both should get the alignment right!
Just hope the bolts come off ok

Replacing Rear Shocks
Hi All, One of my rear shocks was leaking, so I've bought a new pair. As there are only a couple of bolts I figured I could DIY. Simple question : I don't own a spring compressor - is it required for the job or can the shock be bolted on without compressing the spring?? Any other tips gratefully rec...

Re: Steering Wheel Shake and kick back on brake pedal
Ours with aftermarket alloys wobbled at 65 mph too - and a wheel balance sorted it for a while. . However, closer inspection showed it should have had spigot rings fitted, and since putting them on, its as smooth as a you like !! I'd have thought your mechanic would have noticed if you needed them t...

Re: How far in does yours go?
the steering shaft is held in place by a notch in the shaft and the bolt that passes through the uj holds it securely in place ,ie it cant come out as long as the bolt is in place . Just the kind of reassurance I was after - thanks stevedon ! Its weird that the shaft is splined and has a flat on it...
