Hi
What is the wattage of the fluorescent cabin light (not the U shaped one)?
Thanks,
Bill

Roof not rising / opening
Ok
Read the various other posts, very useful thank you. My problem is that when I press the switch I'm not even getting a beeping. Fuses checked (2 and 4 from left middle row). No handbrake light on dash so might be the switch under centre console? Is it obvious or what does it look like?
Thanks.

Re: Scavanger fan and central locking
Cheers for the tip on how to disconnect battery...
Tried that. Cleaned it down and vaselined up. Fault still there.
Could it be the pre-heat sticking? If so how to fix that?
Thanks for all the help.

Re: Scavanger fan and central locking
All fuses checked none blown.
Disconnected leisure battery, no change. Very crusty white deposit on negative terminal (not sure if this is relevant or red herring).
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Scavanger fan and central locking
Strange one... Unlocked Bongo, drivers side, the central locking didn't open the other doors. Turned engine on, flashing scavenger fan light (the orange coil). Coincidence? Or any ideas?

Re: How much is this likely to cost?
Thanks everyone for the answers.
In reply to how formal does it need to be, the court order has just requested estimates, which the above is.
Thanks again.

How much is this likely to cost?
After 9 months, I have a court date in relation to my over heating Bongo and the dealer who sold it. The judge has ordered that I provide cost estimates for the repair. My local garage have advised in excess of £ 1,000. Would people be able to advise costs to repair / replace the following: a) Head ...

History of overheating
All I am trying to find out the history behind overheating Bongos. What do I mean? Really what I am trying to ascertain is when and how the problem came to be realised that it was a significant problem with the Bongo. How the public are / were made aware of this? Is it actually as bad / as significa...

More head gasket woes…
I believe my head gasket is cracked. Few questions: 1) Anybody know a good mechanic in / near Bristol? Yes aware of Bongo Friendly list – but looking for recommendations. 2) How much is this going to hurt? Any ideas?? 3) I am asking the dealer for a refund as this Bongo is not of satisfactory qualit...

Thanks for all the replies. What I have found / learnt is a car less than 750 Kg can be towed unbraked but there is only1 / 2 known of (Atom being one). Above 750 Kg needs to be praked and you get into all the issues above. As to why? For me so that we can have 2 cars in the same area but going diff...

Towing a car
I've seen a lot of motorhomes tow a small car for de-camping, so: a) i presume the Bongo would have enough torque to tow something small (C1, 107, etc.) b) anyone know of a suitable device? I have seen permanent fixtures to the bumper / chassis of tow car http://www.motorhomesdirect.co.uk/images/Tow...
