Re: Bristol Camping?

I don't normally recommend the Caravan Club but how about http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk%20sites/listresult.aspx?site=Baltic+Wharf+Caravan+Club+Site&region=-1&county=Bristol It is apparently very close to the centre and other people have said good things about i...

Re: Updates on Anna (not so old)

Crikey Anna, it was even worse than we thought, and so very hard on Jimmy and the family too.

We are all so grateful and relieved you are improving now.

Take care of yourself, it is going to be a slow journey.

Love and best wishes

x Sarah & Adrian.

Re: weekends away?

I have only been here (http://www.brokerswood.co.uk/index.html) on day trips but other bongoers have camped here. A good base for visiting other places too.
No pool though...

Re: Good Bongo garage / servicing in the north Bristol area?

ADS is good but are South Bristol (which is difficult for us as we are North too). They are near the 'other' football ground  01179635999 - ask for Sean. They clearly know their stuff and didn't make us get a new head when all the symptoms suggested we needed one, when actually we didn't. If y...

Re: Updates on Anna (not so old)

Seeing this news has made my day =D> All the best to Anna for a speedy recovery (after 7 weeks in bed  ) but she will need to take it steady so no organising meets in February [-X , and best wishes to Jimmy who must have had a horrendous few weeks too. Take care both of you, :) Sarah

Re: Broken Bongo - very sad :-(

Sorry to hear your news Griffin and Olebrock
We used ADS for our recent problems and are pleased with their work.

I hope the damage is sorted quickly and relatively cheaply

Thank you so much for your advice and help Steve.
I agree we do need the manual - especially as it looks likely that it IS the head gasket :(

Why is it never straightforward...

Well, Adrian has finished his plastering and started work on bleeding the Bongo. The coolant factsheet says 'refer to the pictorial guide in the Workshop manual.. available as a download from www.repairmanual.co.nz' We need to refer to it today so buying a copy from the club shop will take too long....

Re: Hurley Riverside park , Berkshire 11th sep -13th Sep

It was a smashing weekend, especially the flypasts from the red kites. Many thanks to everyone who helped make a potentially difficult weekend a very special one, including Brian and Mary who really helped us when we got there cross and tired, and John who brought a bright light so we could actually...
