Re: Back door conversion

Twin doors also allow a forklift to load via the rear doors.

Why do you want to do this, and the assembled 'knowledge' might find an alternative method.

Not that i do that the moment but if i go into buisness i would want to put my welding kit in ...

Got out to have a look and the front driver side wishbone had snapped right off.
The van is now not drivable. To get it to the garage i will have to weld a temp ...

Re: Coolant

Points well made, as I've said before how often does the Bongo get the blame for overheating, and then as we read the whole thread we find lines like, "It had been leaking for a few weeks"' or "I knew it was running hot but thought I would limp home", and "I'd bled it a bit", and on and on ...

Re: My turn for overheating

I have just spent a rather frustrating evening trying to follow the exact bleeding process:

· remove air duct
· open service hole cover
· remove air bleed hose plug
· remove reservoir tank cap
· loosen radiator drain plug
· drain coolant
· tighten drain plug ...

Re: Coolent

Try this method - based on info given to me by a Bongo expert & it worked sucessfully.

1) Fill expansion tank to the flange / join - leave cap off
2) Run engine for about 10 mins till it gets hot, all the time checking level in tank & topping up as req'd
3) Set front & rear heaters to hot, with ...
