Re: Led's and switches.
Quite easy really, just wire the leds up ,black to black red to red. when you have done that, earth the black wire to a suitable place (bolt is ideal) then you need to feed a wire from the battery or permanent live through to an in line fuse, then to a simple on off switch. http://www.oznium.com/ima...

Re: Hold Button
The hold button does exactly what it says, it holds the bongo in the gear to stop it trying to change.
As has been said in earlier posts ideal for steep or winding hills, I always use the hold button, also great for not speeding past speed cameras as well

Re: ANYONE THOUGHT ABOUT A VINYL WRAP?
Very interesting, but how long would that last with the little darlings, once they found out you could peel the car.

Re: Fans to keep the van cool in hot weather
There is this one on ebay, easily screwed to a piece of wood so it can be stood anywhere. You need to be careful you don't flatten your battery overnight whichever fan you buy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-FAN-12V-CARAVAN-VAN-12-V-DC-VOLT-FAN-OSCILLATING-METAL-15CM-/330805183798?pt=LH_DefaultDomain...

Re: 70mph steering wheel judder = leaky rack?
Also check you have the right wheel nuts for your alloys, i had wheel wobble and had the wheels balanced three times with no luck, I eventually took it to wheelquick and they said you've got the wrong nuts for the wheels, they sorted a set for me and cured the problem.

Re: Replacing Steering Wheel
If there is no air bag now, why not just take the bulb out from behind the dials, that will stop it flashing.
Mine does not have an air bag so no need for a bulb

Just splice into the wires that go to the side light bulbs, front or rear. that worked for me.

Re: Grab handles on rear door
They are plastic, if you want to paint them you need to sand them down so the paint will stick, use a primer then sand again if needed, then paint them and use a clear lacquer to protect the paint.
Take the handles off the door to do a proper job.

Re: Flushing Coolant System Radiator Removed ? Advice Needed
It is a good idea to flush the system out i used a hose pipe on quite high pressure to remove any debris in the system, then gave my self a few hours to bleed the system properly using red coolant.

Re: 10th anniversary gathering near Chester
A big thanks to Trish =D> :D for an excellent meeting place, loads of space to park and a great place to wander around and have a nice meal. It was great to see friends that I had not seen for ages, and it was nice to see new faces and maybe new bongo owners =D> Glad Dabs found Mikes little radiator...
