noticed it once
a few days ago

turned ignition on instead of the couple of seconds beep as normal
the beep lasted about 5 seconds and tapered off sounding a bit poorly
once everything had warmed up a bit twas back to normal

only other thing i would mention is just be aware if you go anywhere where theres crowds of people pick pockets are rife , or more to the point pocket slashers just take what you need with you and keep it as close to you as possible they tend to like baggy type combat trouser affairs easy to slash t...

the green light comes on with the lights as an illumination light

and the rear heater should not operate if the front controls are off
well mine does`nt but mine is manual not posh climate control

try the fuses under the bonnet
happened to me a while ago
charging light sediment light came on headlights high beam did`nt work

turned out to be one of the big fuses under the bonnet
can`t remember which one but there ain`t too many try em all

hope it helps and nowt worse

i would have a look at the wiring that goes into the tailgate from the main body
that tends to be the main cause of things not working in the tailgate section
