Just got cover from Britannia, no upper age limit (I was careful to ask that one!!) GB£130 for annual multi trip and UK cover.

Can't say we were sorry with the alternative - we were eyeballing Bongonauts in Belgium and Nederland!

looking into it. there is still power to the unit and switch was dicky with door unmovrd (not moving the wires),
wondering if the "replacement" being 8 yrs newer cold be different internally?
I have one on the way which is from a 323 of the same age instead.
Will post results if different.

HELP- got a drivers door switch from a 323f (much newer than my N reg Bongo) looked identical under the trim etc, but no function at all!!
Does the year have to match?
Do Mazda change the internal gubbins but leave the switch the same?
I am pnning my hopes on it being the switch year as we go on a ...

Central locking seems to link into the drivers window switch {or is it coincidence that they have gone on the fritz together :-k }

Try cleaning the contacts there if that doen't work, could be new unit tme.

I've given up so am on the lookout for a replacement unit, should fix the windows too !

Glad this thread started, as I have the oil weep on the top of my Bongo engine too, was a little worried as I noticed it just as I set out for Leiden last week!!
Is it a case of wade in with spanner and tigten till the nuts "feel right" or is there a torque setting to tighten them up to ?
