Hi dandy, yep the Fizza auto is a CVT and very unreliable due to the either the Idle control valve or the step motor! Gearbox works fine once the box is warm but stalls when cold...This is how i got caught out at the auctions as the cars was running a while before i engaged drive...

Anyone have a tape measure handy to take a measurment for the width of the tip up seats both in the tip up position and the seating position!.
having the rear stripped out of mine previously i cant remember the measurments!..Many thanks guys...

I would suggest getting the cam belt KIT FROM the garage you are getting the work done.... I have had many friends in the past buy cam belts seperatly then get some garage to fit them only to have one snap!!!! I know its not down south and maybe you pay a little more, but my cam belt done and tensioner and spring ADL blue print parts, all cost inc labour £120.. :lol:

Just had cam belt full KIT done...
garage supplied the kit and labour at a total cost of £120 all in...

Cam belt kit was ADL blueprint.. :)

Not sure with van tyres but having previously used a range of tyres on my previous cars of some considarable speed yokos all be it very good gripping tyre( on softer compound) dont last well.... I know a fair number of people in the vehicl trade who rate AVON tyres although not personally used these...

Just installed my new roof mounted DVD player which has two lights built in!!! the dvd player comes with one single wire which is apparently to turn on the dvd lights when you open the door of the vehicle...(although each light has a switch also on the player.) now i am wondering whether to connect ...
