Re: Farewell to Ann

I have received this message from Ed: "We are trying to organise a Bongo convoy to follow the hearse at her funeral. Have had quite a good response from the Mazda Bongo facebook page but would be grateful if you could post on the Bongofury site as not all Bongofury friends are on facebook. Cremation...

Re: Club Deficit

I spoke to a few people at Looe, and have received some more emails about this matter. A lot of comments were made about receiving a paper copy of the newsletter in the post; I didn't know it was so popular! So we are now of the opinion that we will keep all 3 categories of membership (web, webplus,...

Farewell to Ann

It is with sadness that we announce the passing away of Ann Johnson, one of our most popular Bongonauts. Together with her partner Ed Ashington, Ann was a regular at most of the club meetings until recently and will be missed by all those who knew her. Bye bye Ann

Re: Relay Identification

On the late edition Bongos the relays are on the offside, not the nearside.

Relay Identification

A member is trying to source a relay but we are both having problems identifying the correct one due to poor translation on Lush. The relevant page is here: http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=6630A&cat=a2ajra0c&vin=&imgno=01of02.html#9 His chassis number is SGEW-601859 and the relay he needs...

Re: Club Deficit

Bongolia, the £2k loss was covered by cross-subsidy from the Bongoland shop. As for uploading images direct to the Forum, we have discussed this before and there are major practical and security issues. That's why very few Forums allow it. Here's a few observations on other comments made so far. 1) ...

Re: Bongo Fest South West 2018

Information for this event have now been distributed by email or post according to your preference. If you haven't received an email copy, check your spam filters or get in touch. There is an addition to the activities this year. On Friday night, in the bandstand, we are recreating the heady days of...

Which Historical Character Would Drive a Bongo?

In an idle moment I was meandering around Facebook to see what was going on within the wider Bongo community when I came across this on the MazdaBongo.com page https://www.facebook.com/512597822256028/posts/1074174036098401/ It's an interesting point. Who, out of history, and right up to the present...

Re: Another question I’m afraid

I've had a number of Bongos over the years, some straight off the boat, others pre-owned. All three new imports had high auction grades, but on 2 of them there were mechanical faults that were not apparent until inspected here in the UK. One (a V6) had a bad oil leak caused by an engine breather pro...

Re: Engine part needed - please help identify the pipe

This is from the members fact sheet about MOT which was issued following some research earlier this year: What if I Have an EGR Blanking Plate Fitted to my Bongo? We have received conflicting advice on this. Bongos have an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system and some owners of diesel Bongos have ...

Re: Bongo Friendly garages in The Lot France

There's no Bongo friendly garages in France I'm afraid. The radiator is not compatible with any other vehicle so you won't obtain one locally, although I suppose Mazda main dealer might be able to get hold of one as they are stocked in Belgium. We could send you a new one but it's a bank holiday her...
