Lakeside Confusion

Lakeside Garage, who are Bongo friendly and based in Middlesex (see https://igmaynard.co.uk/blog/2016/04/11 ... age-middx/) have been in touch to inform us that they are nothing to do with www.lakesidecamperconversions.co.uk.

Just so everyone is clear.

Re: V6 Exhaust header downpipes.

Richard, someone else made an enquiry for the same part a couple of weeks ago via the Bongo Fury office. We found a brand new one (from a parts broker in Singapore) for £325 plus airfreight (about £45) plus VAT. So around £445 in total. Genuine Mazda part. 2 gaskets (KL1940450) are also required (pr...

Re: Help Identifying part & locating replacement/fix

Jordan. You need to replace the whole thing. It's called a Turbo Air Funnel, Mazda part number WL0113340A. Your local Mazda part dealer should be able to obtain it for you, but if not it is listed on www.amayama.com at 153 Canadian Dollars.

Jill, can't make it, sorry. It's a lovely place, and a good walk along the canal. I used to live just down the road in Mapledurwell, and my brother Colin was a chef at the Fox & Goose for a short period many years ago! See if they remember him.

Re: Best advice required.

I’m not that bothered about the 4 wheel drive as I don’t go anywhere off road. How easy is it to take off the prop shaft or replace the bearing. INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE! There's a f...

I've just checked and both the rear wiper motor and the rear wiper arm are common to all Bongos regardless of year.

Sensors in Front Windscreen

Here's a query from a member in Bracknell, Berks who has a cracked windscreen and needs to get it replaced. I suspect the sensors are for overhead toll booths on Japanese motorways but I'm not entirely sure. "My van is a 2004 2 litre petrol and the top of the windscreen there are wires embedded in t...
