Re: Replacement Leisure Battery and Split-Charge Advice
Yes the relay and current setup is fine for any type of Lead Acid battery, AGM is probably the best style, I've just had to replace mine and went for the https://www.tayna.co.uk/leisure-batteries/enduroline/xv31mf/ which just fits under the bonnet on my tray but DO CHECK your dimensions width ...

Replacement Leisure Battery and Split-Charge Advice
HI all,
I'm very pleased to say my Bongo just passed its MOT with nothing more than an advisory on a brake pipe :)
While all good on that front, I've noticed when I've been away that the sink water pump seems under powered, and the fridge doesn't seem to do much. I've been able to use the lights ...

Re: Fixings for radiator top mount and air scoop
Hi Geoff,
Thanks so much for the info, and the link. Funnily enough I was in Lidl at the weekend and I'm pretty sure I saw a. Box of something like scrivets in the middle aisle. I'll nip along after work.

Fixings for radiator top mount and air scoop
Hi all!
I was under the bonnet of my Bongo at the weekend, and noticed that the radiator is not fastened at the top to the cross-member, also the air scoop is loose.
Hoping someone can advise me what bolts/screws I need in each case.
I've uploaded a few photos:

Re: Occassional Speedo failure
Just to update, I'ts been a while. I found a blok locally who is familiar with Bongos. I took mine to him a couple of months ago to have the handbrake adjusted, and he said he would have a look at it for me, and check the sensor as suggested.
All I can say is that I and a friend have been away on ...

Re: Occassional Speedo failure
Do you have a speedo converter fitted to make the original speedo read in miles?
Mine originally had one of these fitted & was having intermittent speedo dropping out, removed it & just fitted an overlay & the problem never came back
As far as I am aware, it is reading mph, I picked my Bongo up ...

Re: Occassional Speedo failure
Hi Geoff,
Many thanks for the response. I'll try giving it a clean, as you say, and see how that goes.
It may be a wee while before I get round to it, but will let you know.
Thanks again.
Matt

Occassional Speedo failure
Hi all,
I was out for a wee trip in my Bongo - a '95 2.5 diesel - this weekend, and on a couple of occassions the speedo stopped working. The first time I noticed the needle "flicked" up, then dropped to zero and stopped working. I arrived at my destination shortly after, and parked up. When I set ...
