So ... mobile Camper / caravan specialist out today.... turns out it was a dodgy earth on the Leisure battery for the most part, the heating was a dodgy connector!!
He redid all the connections, cleaned everything up and voila, everything is back up and running... happy days!!

So you were right.....took the fuse box out and I can see top left and right have been cut and re routed IE all the systems I have had issues with
Some investigation needed
One question, any harm in just reversing things and putting them back into the fuse box?

Re: Weird electrical issues
The saga continues - Yesterday everything started working again, except the cabin light (front) which worked but when put on the door setting stays on (I am now thinking there is a problem with the door on off button thing ) Today, it worked, then didnt work, then worked again..... All of it seems t...

So the saga continues, today all the electrics that were previously on the blink came back to life.... theres something up somewhere. However the front heating fan is now not working. The control unit seems to be ok, as it still controls the rear fine, rear is blowing fine as well. I did a bit of re...

Re: Weird electrical issues
Thanks! One last question... as well as the lead from the lb to the Main Battery that is fed through the split charge Relay, there is also a very think wired direct connection between them + to + .... any idea why that would be?

Re: Weird electrical issues
Just working out how to post with images... in the mean time.... there are 3 wires coming off the leisure battery....(Over and above the massive think red wire that goes to the main battery battery) 1 of the wires goes across to the main battery, the other two go through the body and into the passen...

Re: Weird electrical issues

Re: Weird electrical issues
So I suspect all the issues are linked. Too many wires that had a permanent live feed, that now dont. So focusing on the central locking .... ignition off ... it doesn't work....ignition on .... it works fine. So I presume that the central locking must have a live feed going into it from somewhere A...

Re: Weird electrical issues
Ok checked the fuses at the battery today, so they were ok. It's really strange....two wires to the stereo one that's the memory and the permanent feed that was causing the problem, both now only show a charge via the meter if the engine is on. Tried to trace the back but they get lost in a tangle u...

Re: Weird electrical issues
I will have a check! Don't suppose you can point me in the right direction as to where I might find the split charge relay? Likely to be in the front of the van?
