Re: Overheating issues and coolant bleeding

Thanks for the help so far. Decided not to risk going away. Put some more coolant in the header tank and radiator this morning and there were loads of bubbles coming from the radiator so there is definitely air getting in somewhere.
When I was topping it up it looked like there was coolant coming ...

Overheating issues and coolant bleeding

I've had ongoing overheating issues that garages can't seem to get to the bottom of.

1st overheated, no coolant, they identified a leak and apparently fixed it, next overheated again, no coolant said I needed a new radiator, replaced the radiator, overheated again, coolant still there ...

Re: Re-programming Sterling One Key fob

Thank you Ian.

I'll give that procedure another try or two when I get it back from the garage (who are trying to work out an issue with leisure battery split charge). If no luck i'll give Martyn a call.

I think last resort is just getting someone to bypass the immobiliser and alarm. I called my ...

Normally the old fuses are placed into the additional fuse box under the bonnet that is fed from the LB, if you do have problems in the future, all you need do is move the fuses back inside and remove the wires to ...

Re: Wire plugged into radio fuse

Welcome aboard!

You may find that you have a Leisure battery (LB) installed under the bonnet, in front of the passenger seat, its common to fit what is termed a "Swap Loom" that transfers some of the circuits from the Starter Battery across to the LB so that they are powered when the ignition ...

Wire plugged into radio fuse

Hello,

First time poster here.

I've got a 1999 bongo bought last august.

Its had a long running problem where it has struggled to start in the cold and the wet but you could get it going with a bit of determination. Garages have suggested this could be the glow plugs and i've booked it into a ...
