Can't say I have heard any reports of just three flashes, its an early model as well so no chance of changes in the post 2001 versions affecting the codes.


It must be something I'm doing, so I thought it would be best to start somewhere else!

I will check the resistance on Monday and see ...

N is the input signal to select ABS but the light/LED if it doesn't flash the ABS light as well is pin G;

N TBS Diagnostic-mode input (anti-lock brakes (ABS) control computer) - This needs an earth to trigger.

Yes, I noticed the the socket was upside down! I have checked to make sure I'm connecting the correct pins. I have now also made a test lead with an LED bulb to connect to the other way too, but I still only get 3 short flashes, no long ones? Im connecting to N in this diagram http://www ...

Hi everyone,

I've got the Bongo 2.5td out for the better weather, starting with an Mot. But my 4W ABS light coming on shortly after moving, and I think it has just been on from the start sometimes too. It was fine before being parked up last year!

Hi, I sucked out 3.5 litres through the dipstick. Removed the sump and filter which gave me another 1.5 litre. Then I connected a hose into the oil pick up, and ran it, sucking up 3.5 litres of new oil, whilst also despencing 3.5 litres. My figures may not be exact, but should be close, as I did ...

A further thing I should add, is the vehicle hasn't been used for about 3 years, so I changed the oil and cleaned the filter beforehand.
