Re: Roof vent - do I need one?
Not that familiar with the roof you have, but peronsaly id want a vent if i was cooking in the van, or maybe in summer when it gets kinda warm. Totally up to you though depending on how you use her when out and about really. Any chance of a picture to better understand where the vent is and how big ...

Re: Stereo wiring mess! Advice
How did it go?
When i replaced my stereo last year i just left all the redundant wires in there since they all had proper connectors on i knew they wouldnt really do any harm.
Having said that if its an easy job tracing and removing, maybe i'll have a go

Thanks chaps, had a look in halfrauds and they had pretty much the exact thing for less than 2.00, sorted.

Re: Can you retro fit tailgate handle
Well it all worked out, since all the bits came with the part that i needed. The bracket it connect into already has the hole to take it too. The only major thing to do was modify the door card to cut space out for it, but even that had a marking on it for the area it needed to go so pretty straight...

Rear window washer
Hi all,
Anyone know where i can get a replacement part for the attached? It's the piece that joins the two rubber pipes together.
Either that or a decent idea for a bodge part?

Re: Well, that’s something I didn’t know….
Nice to know, but having only the 1 key, does kinda make me nervous of locking myself out
Is there an easy way to disable it? Or failing that, an easy way to get a second key sorted?
Not looked into either yet but i'm sure you chaps know more

Exhaust leak fixing
Hi all, So, I've noticed that when I stop at lights for a reasonable time there is a noticeable exhaust smell and on investigating I think I've managed to identify that there is a leak at the manifold and down pipe join. I've looked over the diagram here; https://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c...

Re: Can you retro fit tailgate handle
Nice, not too bad then from sound of it. I found this diagram; https://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=6230A&cat=a2ajra0c&vin=&imgno=.html From looking over that, am i right in thinking there should also be a button to push down for the central locking of the rear tailgate? Again...

Re: Can you retro fit tailgate handle
Yes it can be fitted and see https://bongospares.co.uk/shop/interior/trims/tailgate-internal-door-handle/ Thats where i found the part when browsing  Ok cool, so the follow up question, how would i go about fitting it? Take off the interior panel, figure out where it goes and then just cut a h...

The mech diagrams show the normal spring clips top and bottom each side http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=6680A&cat=a2ajra0a&vin=&imgno=01of03.html Thanks for that, gives a good view of whats there. So do you think I need to actually remove those side plates, or is there me...

Can you retro fit tailgate handle

Re: Temperature Sender Unit install
Well i got the parts for this and have only gotten so far with it, but i just wanted to check what the verdict would be in terms of MOT, would i need to get this all sorted and working for it to pass you think? Not sure if they check dash stuff so figured I'd just ask since its only a few months awa...
