Re: Wheel hubs and bearings need fixing

A quick update. I have finally got the bearings sorted. Oh my days! The ride is soooo much quieter now. I might even be able to listen to music now. I had spoken to Ian Taylor, a bongo expert in Stoke and he pretty much suggested the same thing as the garage had told me before. He did put me at ease...

Wheel hubs and bearings need fixing

Anyone have experience with wheel hubs, ABS sensors and bearings? I have a 97 Ford Freda 2.5 Diesel. The front bearings are sounding real rough. I grabbed some new bearings off Bongo Spares.co.uk. I took the van to the garage today but they were unable to get the old bearings out due to damage/age e...

Advice for water tank.

Hello again! Our bongo has a water tank and pump etc. I'm wondering how best to go about treating the system so the water can become drinkable. At the moment we dare not drink from it. Anything could be in there. At first I thought about throwing in some purification products and pumping through a c...

Just before fitting my new LB I noticed that some of these newer fuses had blown again. I'm no expert but I...

Re: Electrics/Leisure battery help.

I ordered, fitted and tested a new leisure battery. All the electrics now work! Amazing. Even the coil lamp no longer flashes when driving. I'm now hoping there is no issues with the relay and pms charging etc. Thanks for the guidance.

Re: Electrics/Leisure battery help.

Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate your time. I think I've found a battery on that link that's very similar in size to one that currently installed. I can't seem the find the factsheet. I've had a look in the members area and just seems like a list of members? Am I blind or am I in the w...

Electrics/Leisure battery help.

Hello everyone. I have just bought my first ever camper. A 97 Ford Freda. I need some help with the electrics and leisure battery. If anyone could help point me in the right direction I would be so grateful. I have no idea what I’m doing. Firstly the van fires up and drives ok. I do however get a ye...
