Re: Racks / Boxes / Storage
Hi, Sorry I've not been on the forum for a while. We ended up b*stardising an old Vito rack with some new brackets made by a neighbour with welding kit. The main issue was getting the top brackets to fit under the mini spoiler, but as this spoiler isn't standard, you might get away with it. Needed t...

Re: Waste Water from the Sill
Hi Neil, The waste pipe that had disappeared up into the body work was situated just in front of the driver's side rear wheel. I'll attach some photos, but it is a little difficult to discern. If you can get underneath your Bongo and shine a torch in any holes that look like they would accommodate t...

Re: Racks / Boxes / Storage
Thanks for your replies! I think I may have got the incorrect terminology for our roof - Its a pop top that hinges on the long edge. Looks like 'mushroom' roofs pop out in the middle (like... well... a mushroom). Your answers are helpful though. I'm a shortarse and almost certainly wouldn't be able ...

Racks / Boxes / Storage
Hello team! I'm after a bit of advice regarding external storage for our Bongo. We have a 'mushroom' roof (hinged along the long edge, rather than the back) and I was wondering if there are any suitable roof racks for such a setup. Also, I have seen that rear door racks are quite popular, but was wo...

Re: Waste Water from the Sill
Hi Bob, By way of an update, we had the Bongo up on a lift and managed to fix the issue! As you had suggested, the waste pipe had come loose and managed to work its way up into the sill. A bit of 'fishing' with some surgery pliers (!) and we managed to pull it back into place and fix it there. Thank...

Re: Waste Water from the Sill
Hi Bob, Thank you for your quick reply. Firstly, yes, I mean the sink waste water. I've managed to strong-arm a friend into getting the Bongo up on his lift tomorrow, so we can hopefully have a better look at what is going on. I'll take some pictures to share with the forum, but I'm 'reassured' you ...

Waste Water from the Sill
Hi all, This is my very first post on these forums, so please go easy on me! We recently got our Bongo and are about to take it for our first proper trip out. Whilst trying to get my head round the various idiosyncrasies of the workings, I tested the waste water to see where it came out. In short, t...
