A little bit of research reveals the genuine part is available through your friendly Mazda dealer for 200 squid plus vat, the part number is FF55 18 816 in case any of you want to rush out and get one. A good few equivalents are listed by Dr google and not all dross brands either.

Has the wiring been chewed?
We're there any codes prior to sensor change?
Does the vehicle start and run OK?
How did you retrieve the codes?
Have you cleared codes?
If yes, did they all come back exactly?

Oxygen sensor compatibility

Does anyone know what oxygen sensors are compatible with a 2005 2.0l Bongo, genuine Mazda ones are ludicrously priced and the one fitted to my funbus is not original but works fine but has damaged wires.
I know there are different types of sensor and quality brand "universal" ones but what really is ...

What about checking the wiring you fixed assuming the lights weren’t on before that


I have checked the 4 wires to the O2 sensor and also unplugged it in case the new one is faulty, but the O2 sensor is not one of the fault codes, they are all engine sensor codes. There must be a common ...
