Geoff - you are spot on!
The plugs were replaced by the PO. There are witness marks on both the injectors and the bus bar where the rubber has rubbed through. Can I "shim' the rail up using SS washers?
It's great to get to the bottom of the problem. Thanks very much for all the advice.

Re: Recommended garage near Weston Super Mare?
Thanks Bob - I got the van started today using easy start. Its running fine. Seems like no voltage on the glow plug rail connection. Traced to a blown fused link. Thanks for you advice. Cheers, Jim

Re: Recommended garage near Weston Super Mare?
Thanks for the reply Bob.
The fused link, fuses and relay are all ok.
Unfortunately, I can’t take the van to a garage until I get it started so was hoping I could get a local garage to pick it up.
As the van had been running fine, do you think I should look at the fuel filter, fuel pump or glow ...

Recommended garage near Weston Super Mare?
Hi - My Bongo wouldn't start this morning. Its turning over but won't fire up. It did cough at first, then a short lumpy turnover then cut out. I have had the van for a couple of months and it has run fine up to now. I have a reasonable knowledge of old cars and old/simple electrics, but have never ...

Re: Routing power to LED strip around roof from fuse box.
Thanks Geoff. I only bought the car about a month ago so have no experience (yet) of removing panels etc. Are there any guides about removing the trim/headlining ? I don't have a manual yet.

Routing power to LED strip around roof from fuse box.
Hi - I am installing some LED strip lights to improve the lighting in the back of the van. I am planning to use 12V LED strips in an aluminium profile/conduit. I have a leisure battery with a separate supply to the fuse box. I was thinking of using the power source that feeds the internal lights ...

Can I retrofit later model (2002) seats?
I have a 1995 Bongo that has been updated with later full length rails and a rear bench to replace the “gull wing” seats. The seats are a bit tatty. Will the seats from a later model (2002) fit ok? Thanks for any advice, Jim
