Re: ALL FANS NOT WORKING

Hi Bob, thanks for the reply.
After cleaning the contacts I got the heater fan working.
I read the posts on here re air conditioning and after joining the condenser brown plug contacts together the radiator fans ran so all I need to do now is to get the air conditioning checked and re-gassed and ...

ALL FANS NOT WORKING

I have a 1997 2.5TD bongo and have just removed and replaced the radiator to flush it out and replace the thermostat. After bleeding the cooling system in the correct way I find that neither the radiator fans nor the heater blower fan work. I've only tried the radiator fans via the aircon switch ...

AUTO GEARBOX DIPSTICK LENGTH

On checking the oil in my 2.5TD Auto gearbox I found that the level on the dipstick was way above the FULL marking even after checking after warming the engine up and going through all the gears as per information on here.
The van drives excellently going through the gears smoothly, kickdown works ...

Re: Disastrous First Outing

Hi, I tried with the fuel cap off and it made no difference, I'm going to clean the banjo filter, renew the fuel filter and clean the filter in the tank as I've no idea if or when these have ever been done

Re: Disastrous First Outing

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for the reply and pic, after reading up on the forum that was one of the things I was going to look at.

Re: Disastrous First Outing

Thanks for the welcome Bob, I've looked through the techie stuff and got a few ideas where to look so it will keep me off the streets (and roads) for a while

Disastrous First Outing

I bought a 2.5TD Bongo camper a few weeks ago, it drove faultlessly on the test drive, drive home and around where we live so today decided to go for a day out. The van drove faultlessly again for approximately 100 miles, a mixture of motorway and A roads then suddenly the engine stopped. I called ...
