Thanks

Re: Air conditioning diagnosing

It's leaking in multiple places. At some point the clips have been replaced with jubilees which have ribbed through the pipe. New pipe is on order, but the clips are on back order. I tried to find another source for the clips and this lead down a rabbit hole of people saying that that unit doesn't d...

Air conditioning diagnosing

Hi all My Aircon isn't working. I think I'm being led down the garden path. Aircon doesn't work either front or rear. Fans do. I took the van to the garage to have it regassed and they said that the gas ended up leaking from a pipe running under the van from the bonnet to the rear side heating unit....

Re: Removing the rear speakers

Are the front speakers the same? With the plastic grill being part of the door panel and the speakers bolted in?

Poor old Geoff. Would have been less work for him if he'd just converted my van himself 🙂

Do t worry. I can put a shout out on Facebook. I just wondered whether there was another way.

I have no router

Hi all

Can anyone think of a Cunning way to cut the 2mm recess in to the edge of plywood for the trim, without using a router?

I don't have one and I can't find one to borrow and have spent all my cash on the van.

Any ideas welcome.

Re: Extending the rear blind switches

Thanks Rick

I'll drop you a private message if my custom plug solution doesn't work out. The bits should be here Friday. In theory it'll work but I might just lose my *@#! trying it.

Re: Extending the rear blind switches

Out of interest, what 12v cable do you use for doing switches etc? I've been buying it from amazon and grabbing whatever seems to be available. Mostly 30amp or 16amp thin stuff as the fuse seems to require.

Im just winging it but thought I'd check to see if people are using a set type.

Re: Extending the rear blind switches

Thanks. The wire I'm looking at appears to be the whiter pale window switch wire in your photo. It doesn't show well in the photo but the wire is part of a loom that seems to either come from the rear, or go to the rear. That bit of the loom is stopping the switch wire from moving. In reality I'm do...

Gentle pull or push does it. Mystery why yours would be difficult. :?
Odd. I've pulled mine hard enough that I might break them if I pull any more.
