yes...after further reading it looks like I do have a standard dizzy cap and it looks fine so I probably need to look for another cause for the mis-fire.
The HT leads look OK on visual inspection.
Any advice on hunting down the mis-fire?

Dizzy cap question

Hi
I wonder if someone can help or advise.
I'm trying to track down a problem with my 1996 by being down on power.
It wouldn't start at all this morning after the rain but did with some generous wd40 onto the cap and leads.
However I noticed that it was well down on power and really struggled up ...

Gearbox swap

Hi
Has anyone done a gearbox swap on their Bongo?
I think I may need to change the box on my 1996 v6
petrol.
Just looking for advice and tips

I think this manual is for a later model (dated 2003)
has anyone done this job on an earlier Bongo?
