Thanks Geoff,
how well does that setup stay on the gutter?
Looks like it could come away quite easily.
I have the Kandar strip and the figure of 8 trim to join things up, and would be fitting the awning strip on permanently.
Cheers again.

Re: best awning for bongo's
Hi All,
I'm wondering where is the best location to fit the awning rail onto the side of my Bongo, for attaching a drive away tent.
It's a 1996 model with the AFT.
I have purchased a Crusader products awning rail, it comes in three sections at 1.20m each.
Im just not sure how far above the gutter I ...

Hi All,
The roller that supports the Rock'n'Roll bed in my 96 Bongo has broken and there are now little ball-bearings rolling around on the floor.
Its a bit of a long strech but does anyone know if/ how I can find a replacement roller.
living in Ireland, hope I can find a supplier that will post ...

Re: leisure battery - connected but not working
Hi Guys,
I'm having the same problem with the leisure battery myself.
Whilst on charge, the fridge works OK, when off charge it's basically dead.
Tried testing but nothing reading, will be replacing with a 75 amp battery (is this the right size?).
Stephen

Re: AFT roof maintenace advice
I had the same issue a while back with the Bongo laid up for a number of months.
Funniest thing in the end, once I turned on the fan to its highest setting the motors to raise the roof worked.
Now I raise and lower the roof a couple of times a month when not in use so as not to have any future ...

Re: Lights shorting out
Good news all,
The auto electric guys couldn't find the issue with the wiring but I realised that the reversing light glass was cracked and water was getting in and causing the short.
Fix the crack, fix the issue!

Lights shorting out
Hi all,
I've an issue with my lights shorting out and can't pass the CVRT (Irish MOT)
Any recommendations for a course of action or a garage in Ireland that might be useful, most garages are not familiar with the Bongo and are scared to touch.
Cheers,
The Western Wanderer
