Yep, I sussed it out and it's all working fine nowhaydn callow wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 7:31 pm Not a good idea to cut the sensor wire ! It’s a shielded wire and this should be maintained after rejoining .

Re: Haydn Engine Temp TM2 not reading temperature?
Ahhhhh, I may have answered my own question by finding http://enginewatchdog.com/tm2_installation.html
I made the assumption that each wire was a single core essentially, whereas it's a wire within a wire. Just bared it all off and checked with temporary twists and it reads correctly now! Silly me!

Haydn Engine Temp TM2 not reading temperature?
Morning all, been getting on with several jobs on the bongo having had a few days off and one of these was to relocate the haydn TM2 engine temperature monitor so I cut the double wires within a foot of the monitor, relocated it in a better location and reconnected the wiring (the right way round) w...

Re: Central locking not working on sliding door...
Just to say, all done :-) Got a unit off ebay, swapped out the "black box" and refitted, works perfectly. I followed this chaps youtube video so hope it will be of help to someone else at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4i2eO1CA24&t=249s&ab_channel=KeithHoughton Thanks...

Re: Central locking not working on sliding door...
Cheers guys, sorry for the delay in reply, work
I may just buy a good secondhand unit and be done with it as that may be the simplest quickest course of action after double checking the right power is getting to it via pins and making sure the wirings ok.

Central locking not working on sliding door...
So, since I bought the bongo a year ago the sliding door lock never worked with the central locking via the front door lock, it does work using the key but I'd really like to fix it. I will say the auto close of the door itself works fine so looks like it may be an issue somewhere with the wiring or...

Re: Power steering Top pinion oil seal... at last
So Mike sorted me out and today I thought I'd make a start, which I have but come to a stop as my cheapo circlip pliers are crap so buying some better ones which will hopefully come tomorrow. One thing though, the rubber dustcover you remove to see the cirlip was just sat there loose, is that normal...

Re: 0.9bar radiator cap
Right sorry to bring up a decade old topic     but, I've just replaced my radiator too and have the same 0.9 vs original 1.1 bar cap issue. So, reading whats on this thread so far, are we saying it doesn't matter that the radiator cap is 0.9bar? We seem to be saying it wi...
