I thought that as well, but didn't want to spend out if maybe ecu issue... Trouble finding a garage that can check for faults on ecu and clear them...
Will try a new relay and see...

Hi all
Well after my last post all has been running OK occasionally the same issue but only for a short while.
Then past week after the issue the glow plug light and relay have stopped doing anything, no flickering and no clicking, with the van in constant low power not changing gear and fans ...

Dear all bongonaughts
I am thinking of getting roof bars/rack/cage on my N reg bongo.
Now on tbe pop top are 4 bolt holes that look to me like attachments for said bars.
Does anyone know about these and if so where I could get my hands on some and the attaching bolts. Had a search online but just ...

Sorry to hear your still having issues, hope you manage to sort it soon.
I say cleaning and checking as many connections as you can can't be a bad thing, no easy feat on a bongo!..

Ok so update on the problem...
Opened up the drivers side loom again to check colour if wire I fixed before.
Found that my previous fix was a bit rubbish and had broken again. Cut wire out and resoldered in another section and hey presto all working perfectly again!..

Sounds like it is the same broken wire on passenger side loom. Haven't noticed anything else not working but suspect like you say if ones gone others are not far behind...

Quick update
I've checked and cleaned all terminals and connectors on battery relay and temp sensor on block.. Tightened them all up and made sure battery fully charged..
So far so good so hopefully was just some dodgy connections..

Hi all
Asking for some advice on central locking not working properly.
It wasn't working at all so opened up door loom on drivers side and low and behold found a broken wire.
Fixed the wire and for a while solved the problem and was working perfectly.
Now it still works but only opens closes the ...

Well first time out to the van since last post. Key in and started as it should, glow plug lights on and no flickering, no fan on and started first turnover.

Well quick update...
I took battery out and charged over night, in tbe meantime cleaned up the terminal connectors, took off glowplugs relay and cleaned all terminals and connectors. Opened up drivers engine hatch and checked all connections unplugged cleaned and reconnected ...
