V6 wiring query

I have found a little black/grey box behind the dashboard instrument cluster (trying to sort out old switches). Three out of 5 of the wires are connected (the red +12v, the blue mpg signal output and green earth). The yellow KMG signal input has been cut and connected to a blue and white wire in the...

Diagnostic

I managed to connect the diagnostic port to check for any errors. It gives a series of long and short flashes, but I don’t know how to read these - I have seen information that shows error codes are two digits and others say 4 digits. Also, how do I know when it has finished giving error codes - doe...

Re: V6 tintop dashboard warning lights

Where would that appear on the dashboard? Or how do I check if the bulbs are in place and working?

V6 tintop dashboard warning lights

Does anybody have a photograph or list of dashboard warning lights that I should see when I turn on the ignition? Still trying to sort the engine misfire and a garage shed about whether the engine management warning light has been disconnected. I am not where that would appear on the dash.

External panel on tailgate

I have a 2002 V6 and the external panel on the tailgate is rattling a lot. Does anybody know how to remove this so it can be refitted?

Re: Bongo not running well (V6)

My issue seems to be time related. The van runs for about 20 minutes and then starts missing. It only misses at 2200 to 2700 rpm. Up to the 20 minute mark the van runs fine but feels a C little underpowered.

Bongo not running well (V6)

I have a 2002 V6 which isn’t running very well. When cools it is fine but when it warms up it starts missing. I have changed the coil, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor arm, plugs and leads and this hasn’t made any difference. When it is warm and you rev the engine, there is a slight pause before ...
