Did you find out what was causing the issue here. Mine has just started very similar.

By loom I am taking it that means the black fuse box, yes this time the fuse is completely melted and the box is burnt on the inside. Only managed to get the fuse out because it was still hot or it all be 'fused' together.

Needs some advice please,

I have been having a few non starting issues, can had blown a two 100 amp main fuses. Problem then stopped.

So I was out the other day stopped at tescos, van would not start, next day went to get her with a view of getting it moved of the forecourt, gave it a ...

Long plugs are now in place so bus bar is raised.

But I have put a 40 amp fuse in and it's not blown.

So do I look for a short or leave it?

OK I will check tomorrow after work. But with I put insolation tape on the worn bit and with the right size. Was no longer touching pipes.i will double check and let you know. Thank you dave

Bongo was good for the summer and a few trips out of Scotland to Englandshire. While last away not starting first time. So changed glow plugs. Long ones for short one after two weeks, guess what... Rubbed through isolation and shorted ...
