HI Thanks guys for your input I only wanted to bypass some of the safety switches ,etc to keep things simple.I had a vw poptop camper for 25 years and have never had a problem driving with it up. I will keep the sensors for the roof though Is it Stuart Coates that anybody closer to me in Southampton...

HI Geoff Yes I have put an AFT roof on my tintop.I kept the original tintop roof frame but added the AFT roof skin and all the strengthening brackets plus I added some additional strengthening bars as my calculations show that the original AFT could cause issues in torsion when sleeping in the AFT.I...

i am trying to remove an AFT roof from an old Bongo cut off at the roof pillars to put onto my Bongo.I have stripped out the headlining and removed all the nuts and bolts including the hinges.The problem is that i can't separate the AFT roof from the steel roof.There appears to be a mechanical fixin...
