Hello, not sure if I should of started a new post but will try here first. Just wondering if someone could help with front jacking points, I know it’s normally under the lower arm bush but I’m replacing the lower arm and not sure where to safely jack up? Any help would be much appreciate

Updates are very useful in the future as people search for answers. :wink:
Update I changed the belts back to the old ones and the noise stopped 👍 so it’s not the alt or water pump. Do the belts need to broke in or are they wrong size ? They look a little thicker then the old ...

Gaza, you should be able to depress the belts by about 1/2" on the top run but it is all too easy to overtighten with the adjuster on the Bongo. maybe slacken off a bit and road test it see if the noise changes?

Possibly it's been overtightened, that could happen with the screw adjustment.
You might be able to tell if the noise is coming from the alternator by using a long screwdriver as a sort of stethoscope. Pop it on the suspect part and put your ear against the top of the handle.

Thankyou for the replay/pictures The leak is coming from the middle of the t joint so I will need to replace the pipe as blanking the end won’t help. Or I mite try cutting the pipe down And see if I can put a L shape bend to fit.
